hello with 4.5 wks to go organising a couple things
I hear I can organise transport for my back pack to be transferred,
I think being especially the start and over the Pyrenees I potentially will be in a better place to continue.
1. If I go to pilgrim office at SJPDP can they help organise this in for my two stages. 1st night get it to orrisson then 2nd day to Roncellvoux
Is this expensive to do any tips would be greatly appreciated
I was also thinking of getting my credentials, a Buff, guide at SJPDP and thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Join our full-service guided tour and let us convert you into a Pampered Pilgrim!
What type of accommodation will you be using? Most places have the tags for the various luggage transfer services and can I'm sure advise on how to use it.

Can't speak for Albergues though.....

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

We have been forwarding our backpacks most days since St Jean - it's very easy. Every albergue so far has had a supply of envelopes for various transport companies we used Bourricot to Orisson and are now using NCS in Spain - but there are others and they all seem very very professional. Cost is 5€ per bag per day. Just fill out the envelope, put your 5€ in, seal it, attach it to your bag and leave it in the albergue or hotel in the morning - you need to let the company know by email or phone that you want pick up and you need to have decided where you want your bag delivered. Works great.

They will transport your baggage the first day. They cannot transport in Spain, but the post office, Correos, and Jacotrans (and others) can do so.

So You stayed Orrisson and then met your backpack Roncesvalles?
So!!! Was there like a central location eg post office in Roncesvalles,or did it have be your accomadation,

We sent it to the packs to the monastery in Roncesvalles, from Orrison. You'll be glad you did. That part of the route is stunningly beautiful, but has some challenging sections. Lots of people forward their packs. Buen camino!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hola, I gearing up to start my 1st CdS and have seen people recommended sleeping bag liners to protect against bed bugs. Do these help or is it a myth? Should I add the extra weight of bringing one?
