2023. Finish the VDLP. Zamora to Santiago.
Hello
Can anyone tell me if there is a regular service for transporting backpacks on the VDLP from Seville please.
I have a back injury and may need to have some relief on the way.
Thanks and regards

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I walked in autumn last year and there was no regular service then. Some people chose to send their luggage ahead by taxi but that had to be organized on a day-to-day basis. An expensive business unless you can share with other pilgrims. It is a very different experience from the Camino Frances in lots of ways.

I am on vdlp right now and can confirm that the Mochila service with Correo starts in Ourense.

Want to add that surprisingly this route is already crowded. Have met so many pilgrims who walk here to avoid crowd but ended up with a crowd. Albergues fill up every night so far.

Also, due to recent heavy rains in the area, many flooded creeks can get your boots wet. A few detours will add to your distance.

Buen Camino.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Mark,
The Spanish Post Office, Correos, now offer this service - I used it last year on the Camino Ingles (as my father is 86 years old) and they were first class.

Thank you Guy
I have looked at the site and see they offer the service on the Sanabres route; not from Seville.
Appreciate your information as I see they offer the same service on many more popular Camino routes.
Impressed that your father was able to do the Camino Ingles at 86; I am 74 and wonder how many more I have in me
