Is there a reliable bag transfer service like Jacobtrans on the Frances?
Heading there tomorrow!
Planning to not take a sleeping bag, only a liner. Anyone have any advice on this.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
It’s the Portuguese coastal route that I need the baggage transfer. Finished the Frances:)

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
I have had excellent communication so far with https://caminofacil.net/en/ and plan to utilize them when there. I am leaning toward a mixed route of beginning on the Littoral and moving in to hit Barcelos and north.

I walked the coastal route in May and used Tui Trans. excellent service, they made 13 pick ups and deliveries for me without any problems. Very highly recommended.

Can you tell me what the per bag, per stage cost is please? I cannot seem to find that on their site.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I have been told that the municipal alberques dont accept transported backpacks, is this true?
Also what company transports on the route from A Coruna to Santiago and do they leave the envelopes in the alberques as on the Frances?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I see someone has quoted 6 EU per pick up, but we paid TuiTrans different amounts on certain days. ( Sept 2018) Most times they told us 7-8 EU and one day it was 10 EU. We walked short stages because I had a tumor in my knee. We were told any stop that was out of the ordinary with typical stages in guidebooks were priced differently, even if on the same route and even with a shorter distance. I suppose they only want to make one stop ? Despite unpredictable cost each day they were reliable getting our bags moved along the way. The fee envelopes were a bit difficult to get...some stops did not have any...we had to be creative with pieces of paper and tape on a few days.
