ist Camino, only walking oart
I am walking for 10 days in early March, and am planning to just use a day pack and send my bigger pack with my sleeping bag etc ahead each day. Is this possible in march? can you just do it day to day from where you are? Thanks, I am excited, and have appreciated all of the posts about walking in march.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
The answer keeps changing. Two years ago, only Correos transported bags until April and then only on the last 100 km of the Camino Frances. Jacotrans seems to be offering transport this year, but you may find it discontinuous. Contact them to see what they offer. Buen camino.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

Looks like I'll be joining you around March 4/5 and yes, you can get pack transport in March. There are several companies to choose from. Yates has mentioned Jacotrans above and I always use and have been very happy with Caminofacil. They have a website and you can email and ask them also.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
