Apparently after recent bad weather there is a problem, the land beneath rail tracks has become unstable in places. Yesterday I read that until further notice there will be a bus replacing this train service to SJPP.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Yes, using a bus replacement service is very straightforward especially at smaller train stations. I just wanted to warn anyone who might be puzzled when greeted with "aujourd'hui il n'y a pas de train".

Note that the schedule indicates a bus. March was the earliest that the track bed was going to be fixed, and it does not look like that happened.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Darn!!! I had to take the bus in 2014, and as a train freak . . . errrr I mean 'enthusiast' I was looking forward to taking the train on the 24th of this month.

Perhaps the repairs will be finished by then. ( fingers crossed )

It is a lovely train ride. In 2012 we did the journey in both directions.

Thanks all for this information. I'm travelling from Bayonne to SJPDP in early April. Just having this as a 'heads up' is ideal for a solo walker with no sense of direction...!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.
