Hi! I was unable to source permethrin before leaving for the Camino (I live in the Middle East). Will I be able to do this in Irun?

Probably. Every tourist office in France has bed bug spray with permethrin in it. There is an office in Bayonne and Hendaye.

Last year doing the Camino del Norte our guide got bed bugs in an hotel,and my bother in low ,got the bed bogs in an albergue ,so you never know.

If you can obtain some permethrin spray where do you propose to spray it? It should not be sprayed indoors where people can breathe it in, and you shouldn't touch it while it's wet. It's something that should be applied at home, before you begin the Camino.
