Between Montamarta and Santa Croya

We got a little sidetracked coming out of Montamarta..after seeing virtually no one we were walking with a bus full off people which was a shock and it got confusing walking around the reservoir to the medieval ruins before Fontanilos..our guide said it was still possible but it isnt..a man was trying to tell the bus group( kind of excitably) that they couldnt go..some of them did and as there were clear markers
.there are old and new ones..and it tallyed with our guide we went. The road loops back and just stops and you have to go back and over the carreterra to get further up..and eventually you come across the ruins...wasted a few kms even if it was nice to see water for a change...theres more to come! Also we only got as far as Faramontanos de Tabara one day due to weather and there is a new donativo bring built there..la casa azul y amarilla..you can ask for Juan at Bar Boyo..they know him. Its not finished yet but he still let us stay..it was cold but fine and might be great in the future. Loving Anita's in Santa Croya but they are hard to miss.
