Biarritz to Camino del Norte

Hi Everyone, Arriving in Biarritz (23 August) to walk el Camino Norte, then El Primitivo to Santiago. Would also love to walk through the Pyrenees, SJPP to Pamplona... has anyone done this, rather than going straight to St Jean de Luz, Hendaye, Lezo, etc.... does it add a lot of kilometres and time? Can anyone tell me, compare, the scenery staying North only with SJPP to Pamplona? Would love to read your suggestions and experience. Thank You

I guess you could walk SJPdP to Roncesvalles and then join GR 11 or GR 12 to Irun

Thank you for your help whariwharangi and mspath., wasn't aware of previous thread on the subject.
It's given me a chance to realise... the reality.... of this intended itinerary.

Have now decided to walk the Camino del Norte and El Primitivo 'simply' for a first Camino.

This way it seems that the more challenging part will be towards the end, rather than the beginning.
