Nobody answered my ? Just back so for anyone thinking about doing it. If you take the back roads there are some hellish climbs at one point bike ended up with the front wheel leaving the ground and me falling off it was so steep. If I was to do it again I would stick to the main road except for the first section along the river Nive which is very pretty.
