Biking new segments with mtn bike..

Am starting my third Camino this 27 Sept., using a mountain bike. There are a few segments I missed on the previous two trips for various reasons. Hopefully someone has ridden them and can comment of their "rideability". Following are the segments I'm interested in:
1.Roman road between Carrion de los Condes and Calzadilla de la Cueza. 16KM
2.Roman road between Calzada de Coto and Mansilla de las Mulas. 35KM
3.The walkers route between Sarria and Portomarin. 23K

Sorry I didn't see this earlier.

They are all good riding, nice fun sections. The 35 km of Roman road from Calzada has some bumpy rounded rock which is firmly in place but gets a bit old. Just before you are done with it, you have to wade a creek. It is a remote section and I'd do it again.

From Tricastela the noth fork to Sarria is some of the best riding of the trip.

Have a good trip!

Actually, I was referring to Sarria to Portomarin. I would hate to miss Samos on the route you refer to, but I will consider it. Thanks for the info

Leaving Sarria are a few tough hills, but it is all pretty nice riding. Just fine on a mtb. We covered more k's than average through there.

I mentioned the section north of Tricastela because it is a magical trail on old sunken paths with spooky gnarled trees.

Looking at my notes from my second trip, I wrote that the north fork out of Leon sucked, but there is a north fork from Hospital de Orbiga which is very nice.

Near Melide, Casa de las Somosas was one of our favorite stops.
