Does anyone know of, or can recommend, any blues bars/clubs on any of the camino routes?

I have come across a few, by chance, but I don’t always remember exactly where.

There was one in Astorga. I arrived in town about 6pm, looked for somewhere to get a glass of something and a tapa, and struck really lucky so early in the evening.

Liked it so much, stayed, wrote up my journal, did all my social networking stuff, and before I knew it it was 21:55 and I had to leg it to the albergue.

Another place is Navarette, my favourite bar on the whole CF, and I know exactly where that is as I visit it every time.

I also came across one on the Norte, playing really good blues. Will have to check back on my journal to see where that was.

Anywhere else?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

A list of Blues Bars would be a wonderful resource, maybe you could start by naming those you know. Often Irish Pubs will have live music problem is they usually start late when all good peregrinos should be fast asleep. And street music, there were a few people playing in A Coruna when I was there in September.

Where? Name, please.
I am wondering if it has changed hands, as when I search for it on google, it looks different.
This is a photo I took on my first visit:

But it doesn't look like that now on google, if it's the same place: Bar El Patio.
Does anyone know?

I don't remember the name of the place and it has been seven years and things could have changed but Peg and I had lunch at a place on the north end of the Plaza de Grano in León. They played blues while we were there. This Google view gives a restaurant at the same location the name Áurea Taberna. Notice that it is opposite the square from the albergue at the Benedictine sisters convent.

This link should bring you to Google's information, reviews and photos for Áurea Taberna

Kind of off-topic:
I'm not much of a night person, but I stayed at the Benedictine hospideria and loved the Taberna Aurea across the street so much that I had many meals there. Always outside. I don't know about music, but it has really good food and service.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
On the map above, between the tavern and the albergue, you can see a bar with outdoor seating jutting into the plaza. Check out its prices before heading to the tavern. That's why we ate at the tavern. In seven years things can change though.
