Dear fellow peregrinos, David is trying to raise funds in order to change the windows in Bodenaya, I am not sure this type of postings are allowed here, please dear moderators feel free to remove this post or simply put it somewhere else in the forum.

I guess most of you who did Primitivo did stop in this haven of peace, be it with Alex a few years ago, or now with David.

Thanks for posting this @amancio
It is a popular stop on the primitivo as he does so much for those staying - and all with a smile.

David (imho) is as close to perfect as a man can be . The primitivo camino angel. Wishing him well.

Will have to get there at some stage in the future then.
Jumping onto the link.

I have never stayed in Bodenaya with David, but was there twice with Alex as the owner/hospitalero. From everything I’ve heard, David has carried on in the same tradition. This is one of the places that oozes “true camino”, whatever that means to you.

When I went to donate to the sisters in Granada, I saw that the Albergue Bodenaya had contributed to their fundraising page. This speaks volumes about David and Bodenaya. I pray that all of these magical places survive and are able to introduce a whole new generation of peregrinos to the magic of the camino.
