What books does everyone recommend for the camino frances? I'm looking for a guide book, with limited personal details and more about the facts of the trip, like where to eat or better yet not eat, sleep and such. Any help would be great, thanks.

The book I've chosen to plan out my April camino is this one by Ben Cole:

A second edition has just been release so it must be quite up to date. Reviews look good and the content appears to be highly relevant (where to eat, sleep and walk)

You would not call it a guide book but almost indispensible is the CSJ's "The Camino Frances 2006"

It is packed with the most up to date details on where to sleep etc and is small and light so easy to carry.

a Walker's Guide by Bethan Davies & Ben Cole
