bringing a tent

Since I'm going in July I've considered bringing a tent so I wouldn't have to worry about getting to an albergue before one or even noon.

However I have a question. Where can one pitch a tent along the route? Can I just pop it up anywhere that looks good to me, such as near a water source? Or do concerns over private property or something like safety become a concern? I'm starting out alone, probably starting in Pamplona.

Some albergues has place where to install your tent. You are not allowed to do that "where you want", because can be a private place.

But I couldn't bring a tent. Because it's weight and you will have no problems to find where to sleep during the night, in my opinion. And, on summer, you can sleep wherever you like under the stars ... without a tent.
