St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
That's awesome @falcon269 !
But I have to add a word of advice. You don't have to resize (downsize) photos so much. I usually put 1000 in first box (I use ACDSee) and find them resized enough for this forum. Would love to see some of yours in bigger size, because I can't remember them from my Camino ;)

I didn't keep the best records, but I think I can safely say that the peregrino with the suitcase was in Astorga, and the violin teacher and students was in Ponferrada.

Does anyone have a picture of the magnificent El Cid on his horse in Burgos? I can't believe I didn't get a picture of him. :)

These attachments are OFF-TOPIC, but I don't think I should start whole new thread for El Cid. Or should I? :)
At request from @charlesx , (El Cid is in the upper row on the right side):

El Cid monument in BurgosView attachment 8374

Woo-hah, not really Charlton Heston (or El Cid himself for that matter) depicted here :p . The horse must have been at ladies hair dresser before "posing" I guess, which goes almost the same for El Cid, but I will have to find that statue next time while in Burgos. It looks very powerfull.

I agree. But I do like this monument; I find it superlatively magnificent. tallrobert, thank you for posting this picture.

And thank you also KinkyOne for your earlier photos of El Cid at the entrance to the plaza – one needs to keep these things in perspective.:D

Well, yes that was entirely my "perspective" ;)
I believe that the author of the statue is Juan Cristóbal González (more: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Cristóbal_González)

Wish you (and all the rest) a very nice day!!!

I have posted this in another thread, but I think it deserves to be in this one also:

"For me the most memorable was the monument/statue dedicated to emmigrants in Negreira (Camino Finisterre). Very simple, yet so touching to see how men's legs are rooted in Galician soil, how his son is grabbing him and pleading not to go while mother with younger child is in the house."

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Well, did they let you took some photos of them? ;)
Yes, they most certainly did let me take their photos, and when I work out how to attach pics here, I will post a couple. Smiles.
