Does anyone know with certaintee when the last bus from the airport leaves for Bayonne.
My easyjet flight is due to arrive at 19:55. Is this too late to catch this bus to Bayonne? Looking at Sept 04 2013

terryvinet,

From Biarritz airport (Anglet) take a Chronopost bus 14 to the BAYONNE rr station (Gare SNCF). For times see >> http://www.chronoplus.eu/ and in particular http://www.chronoplus.eu/horaires_ligne ... 0&minute=0 On this schedule for September 4 the buses leave from Anglet Aeroport for Bayonne Gare at 18:29,18:49,19:09,19:27, 19:44,20:12. Travel time is roughly 30 minutes.

At Bayonne station take a regional TER line 62 train to SJPdP. For times http://www.ter-sncf.com/Region/aquitain ... yonne.aspx and in particular for the period 26 August through 14 December >> http://telechargement.ter-sncf.com/Imag ... -42307.pdf .Generally there are several TER line 62 trains from Bayonne to SJPdP each day. There are NO reserved seats; seating is open as on a tram or metro. The cost to SJPdP from Bayonne is about 10 euros. SJPdP is the last stop; journey time roughly 1 1/2 hours. The TER train also transports bikes.

By these schedules if all goes well you can make the last TER departure from Bayonne to SJPdP at 21:10. However, there is NO certainty in life especially when traveling or on the Camino!

Bon Voyage and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith
