Does anyone know if there are buses from Biarritz or Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port? I know I could catch a train but I've checked the timetables and it seems that we'll have a few hours wait between when our flight arrives and when the train departs. If I had a choice I would prefer a bus. Thanks for any advice.

The buses from Bayonne to SJPdP leave from the train station. The buses from the Biarritz airport to Bayonne leave from the bus stop in the arrival area.

There is no bus service between Bayonne and SJPdP, but the track is being repaired, so the train company is currently substituting buses for the train.

ALSA provides bus service from San Sebastian to SJPdP via Biarritz airport. I am not sure if ALSA is allowed to pick up and drop off in France.

Transports64 offers bus service from Gare Bayonne to St Palais (811) and St Palais to SJPdP (810)

Express Bourricot offers private hire taxi services catering to pilgrims. The more people on the taxi the cheaper it is.

Otherwise the SNCF TER service is all there is.
