bus from O'Cebreiro to Santiago ?

Hi everyone,

I am one of those who walk a stage each year and this June I hope to walk from Leon to O'Cebreiro.
I have tried looking up the ALSA bus site without much success. I want to get a bus to the airport in Santiago de Compostela by lunchtime on Tuesday June 11th.
We will walk from Vega de Valcarce to O Cebreiro on Monday June 10th.
Should we walk furhter in order to get a bus the next day... it seems like a long, hard day to walk from Vega de Valcarce to Triacastela?
We fly into Madrid and get a train to Leon so I don't know anything about the airport in Santiago and i don't want to see the city until we hopefully walk into it in 2014. :)

best regards,
M.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The ALSA bus goes from Piedrafita, a short walk from O cebreira. You will have to go into Santiago bus station and then get the airport bus. The bus station is on the edge of town and even the airport bus does not take you into the old part of town.
