Bus from Triacastela to Santiago

Ok, veterans, I need your help! I searched this forum over and over, and googled blogs etc..i also struggled with alsa.es several times. My friend is joining me for part of my camino. She'll be walking with me from Leon to Triascastela, I'm estimating. She has a flight out of Santiago the afternoon of July 8th, so she needs to get to Santiago the night before. I've gleaned, from aforementioned toiling, that there's a bus from O Cebreiro, but is there a place beyond Triacastela to pick up a bus? Assuming she'd have to taxi back to O Cebreiro otherwise.

PS. Perhaps she'll be so knackered from the climb up to O Cebreiro that she'll want to skip the walk to Triacastela?! :lol:

Last year I took a taxi from tricastela to Sarria (€20). From Sarria you can take a bus via Lugo to Santiago.

You can go from Tricastela to Lugo - only one bus per day at 07h25 arrives 08h30 (http://www.monbus.es)
There are many buses from Lugo to Santiago.

Triacastela and sorrounding are so beautiful places that ... no good connection with "big" populations, even so close as Sarria. Don't avoid visiting it!

I'm afraid, now we have a problem around it, because there's a project about building an eolic park in the very close mountain. It looks that it will destroy part of the forest beside.

thanks folks. your answers were helpful and correct! The sad fact is gthat she was so knackered from the walk into Villafranca that she didn't even attempt O Cebreiro! She took the bus to Santiago from Villafranca instead. Boy did she miss out.
