Bus stops from Santiago to Finisterre?

So I am one day removed from my second leg of the Camino Frances and already looking at flights, dates, vacation time I can use, etc. for the final stages this Sept. Will start from Ponferrada and looks like I will probably have 9 walking days as I can at least work Labor day in and not use a vacation day.

My question is if I end up not having at least 3 days to be able to fully walk from San. to Fin. has anyone that has taken the bus could I at least possibly walk maybe the last 20-50 km instead? Is there a few stops along the way that I could jump off or is it typically a straight shot from San. to Fin.?
Thanks.

I've walked from Santiago to Finisterre twice. It's a three day a walk, of which I liked the latter part best. But that is my personal opinion, mind you!

From Santiago there is a regular bus service to Negreira. This way you can skip the first stage. From Negreira you can walk to Finisterre in two days.

You can also get off the bus in Cee and walk the final 12kms to Finisterre. This would allow you to walk the last couple of kms on the beach and still have plenty of time time to walk to the lighthouse etc.

There are plenty of buses between Santiago and Finisterre - you can check your options on the Monbus website.

My husband and I would like to spend a night in Muxia after walking to Santiago but don’t have time to walk there. Rome to Rio says there’s busses twice daily, but if you go to the Monbus website...
