Tried purchasing bus tickets (Santiago to Porto) online with ALSA, and it was rejected. Not a problem with the credit card, as I have recently used it here in Spain. The questions: can bus tickets be purchased at the Santiago station on Sunday? Are ALSA Flixbus, and Monbus all in the same bus station? Thanks for any advice!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
There is a ALSA agent as well RENFE, adjoining the Pilgrims office (same place where you get your compostela), that can help you.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Be sure when you buy your bus ticket from SdC to Porto that you have your national passport with you for you are crossing an old international boundary; the ticket agent will ask to see it. Furthermore remember that the time in Portugal is one hour earlier than in Spain.

Good luck and Bom caminho!
