is there a bus station in Olveiroa, Spain.

My wife is on Camino now but will run out of time and can not walk the whole thing. She wants to know if she can take bus from Santaigo to Olveiroa and then walk to Fisterra from Olveiroa?

can anyone help?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
There is no bus station as such in Olveiroa but there is bus service along the camino route to Finisterre from Santiago. The Galicia Tourist Office in SdC at 30 rua de Vilar near the cathedral has a good free multilingual list of all services including the buses along the route. Their muli-lingual staff is very helpful. However, if your wife takes the bus she may not be eligible to stay in pilgrim albergues along the way.

Thank you for the information. They will head to tourist office in SdC. No big deal regarding no staying n albergue as they have hotel reservation in cee. They would have loved to walk the entire thing but 75 year old mother is tiring and unfortunately wife is forced to get back to work.

If anyone knows where to find bus company name, bus routes, timetables, etc for SdC to fisterra online. That would be great help as well.

Thank you

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Margaret is right. Why not suggest either a bus to Negreira, which should be possible (Olveiroa is a tiny spot away from everything), or perhaps to Fisterra with a walk to Muxia, or vice versa. Or Dumbria, Muxia, Fisterra. Just a thought. There are no hard and fast rules this side of Santiago de Compostela and the hospitelero in Dumbria is a real sweetheart; it´s never full and credentiales from along the Camino in general will almost certainly be enough.

Hi all, At this stage looks like we are going to finish in SdC on Friday, our flight home is only Monday night. The weather forecast doesnt look to be promising - showers over the whole weekend...
Hi all We are walking the reverse Camino from Muxia to Santiago via Fisterra. Any tips or information to help us on our way?
