Bus /train From Logrono To Madrid

Hi everyone,

I'm walking SJDLP to Logrono section starting May 3rd. Has anyone ever travelled from Logrono by Bus/Train to Madrid? I can't seem to find much clear information. As far as I make out there is an ALSA bus and Renfe train. If pilgrims have any information on the timetables and journey length and where they arrive in Madrid I'd appreciate it.

www.alsa.es : Several buses a day, Takes you 4 hours.
Renfe train is not a direct one.

Thank you SabineP, I had been thinking rail wasn't direct. Do you know where the bus terminus is in Madrid?

Depends ...Some at Barajas airport, some at Avenida de Americas. Just type in a random date and the site will give you all possibilities...

ALSA buses go from Logrono to Madrid Avenida de America. Some but not all buses call at Madrid Airport before terminating at Avenida de America. There is usually a transfer at Soria.
