Plan on being in Santiago in late September and spending a few days in Muxia before flying home. I understand there are two buses daily to Muxia and checking where I should be catching the bus to Muxia and where is the best place to catch the bus to the airport for an early flight departure. Also can anyone recommend accommodations in Muxia and Santiago...looking for a single room in both locations. Thanks.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I stayed in Muxia some years ago at a small hotel called Bela Muxia, very central, nice rooms, good food in the restaurante. They also have an albergue. See on booking.com that the price is 45 euro.
If you want a hotel in Santiago I could recommend Gelmirez, near airportbus, near Renfe. Rua Horreo, not far to walk to the old town.

Bus to Muxia is from Estacion Autobus.

Your plan to spend a few days in Muxía sounds great. I just finished my walk there, and time only allowed me to spend one night. Though not a lot seems to go on there, it was a great place for me to give some closure to my walk on the Portugues, and I would have happily spent more time there if I could have.

I also stayed in a private room at the Bêla Muxía, and absolutely loved it. Looks like they’ve also set up their albergue very nicely.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Loves San Martin Pinario in Santiago and Bela Muxia in Muxia. You can get private rooms in both places
