Does anyone know the actually time it takes the bus to get from Pamplona to SJPP? Conda's website is no help at all :p

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
According to Conda.es website the bus departs at 14:30 and arrives at 16:15. Journey time is given as 1 hour 45 minutes. Thats for the 6th or 7th of March. Timetables may vary.

Thank you. I had a rough idea of the travel time but I wanted to get confirmation. BTW, where did you get the travel time on Conda's website? I looked all over their Spanish and English sites but found nothing about the travel time.

A tip I want to add to anyone taking the bus from Pamplona to SJPDP is keep an eye out for the bus when you're at the bus depot in Pamplona. The last time I tried to take the bus, it pulled into a different platform, and it was not announced over an intercom or changed on the arrival screen. The bus also did not say that it was heading to SJPDP, so my girlfriend and I just sat there and watched it come and go. About an hour later, we're still watching the arrival screen and it still says that the bus has not arrived. We started to get worried, but of course the ticket office was already closed, so we started scrambling to figure out what we'll do next. Luckily for us, two other pilgrims missed the bus and we all split a taxi up to SJPDP. So that was a relief and the my credit card company was able to fight for a refund, but keep an eye out for that bus!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I used Google Chrome(tm) as a browser and the auto translate comes in handy sometimes though my Spanish is good enough for get-by. Their website is a bit sketchy by modern standards ( like since last week!! where are these people) but I just clicked through to the 'buy a ticket' bit and typed in Pamplona / St Jean and a putative date. Google Maps says the driving time P to St J is around 1 hour 35 so I guess the extra 10 minutes is to give the driver a chance for a smoke or a wee.

'En qué parada?' is a useful question to ask when you buy your ticket. But its worth noting that buses in Spain run remarkably to time, so if a bus pulls in to the station at the time you are expecting your bus that is probably the one.
