Hi folks.
Am I the only one that finds it impossible to buy a bus ticket online?
I'm just planning ahead and trying to buy a bus ticket from Bilbao to Belorado on movelia.es

I keep getting this error message:
"Error en el tramo BILBAO - HARO de la empresa ALSA: No se permiten ventas con tanta antelacion"

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Hi David, its just telling you that tickets are not available in advance. Possibly because you have to change buses in Haro, possibly because of the arrangements between Movelia and ALSA or poosibly just 'cos its like that sometimes

Unless you are planning to travel on a public holiday I wouldn't worry about advance tickets.

Aha..thanks Tincatinker!

It shouldn't be a problem. I've no problem waiting until I arrive at the bus station. It's just the only bus from Bilbao that day is 1hr 15mins after I get in from the airport.

The buses are rarely sold out unless it is a holiday or a rush of students trying to get home for the weekend from their studies in Bilbao.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
All seems to be well. Here's tomorrow's journey's

OBVIOUSLY a tourist route - about three times what I would expect to pay for a one hour journey!
