Buying Used Trekking Poles

Hi,
I have Leki trekking poles but am reluctant to take them because we are travelling around Spain after the walk and don't want to carry them.

DH has an intermittently dodgy knee and is thinking of buying some 2nd hand poles along the way and giving them away at the end. We are only going from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. Is it possible to buy them 2nd hand in Sarria? Does anyone have any idea how much they cost 2nd hand?

I don't know about second hand trekking poles available, but I bought a new set for only 24 euros in Puente la Reina and left them in SDC.
I'm sure in Sarria you could get a set for about that same price, new.

You could use your Lekis and post them home from Santiago in a cardboard tube.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll look in the aubergues first then, if I can't find any, perigrinoteca for new poles.
