Time of past OR future Camino
Apr2017:Frances,Muxia,Finisterre
Apr2023:Del Norte
This painting was a birthday present from my mom - she took one of my Camino Frances 2017 pictures and painted it. That was the night that my Camino family formed I think. Those are 2 of the 4 people I walked with for 27 days.

Any guesses as to which Albergue this is? I blanked out the name on the little sign.

Hints
  • in April 2017, the hospitalero did NOT enjoy shoe chaos and ordered everyone's shoes in very neat rows on the stairs
  • this was the only open Albergue in town and a lot of pilgrims were too late and ended up taking a taxi to the next town after a long day

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Whoops! Mea culpa....Your mom's painting is wonderful, however. What a happy souvenir she has made for you.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

It is such a special gift - a constant reminder that the Camino is still there. Hopefully I can return soon

Love this! Thank you for sharing your mom’s talent. Love the depth and the light/shadows! Makes me want to wet my paints again!

I am sure it is Lorca, by Jose Ramon, the best albergue at all, because of it´s soul, and they serve the best Tortilla Patata on the C Frances 🍀 🍀 🍀

What an awesome thing to do for you. Gotta love mums !

I'll try again. Lorca at the Albergue Lorca, 34 Calle Major; another friendly spot.
I also stayed at this Albergue; the owner locked us in at night, it made me very uncomfortable.
