Camino 2024 unknown starting 4/1 from somewhere.
I am going to walk the VdlP this Spring. Now considering adding the Augusta.

Any feedback on the route, markings, how best to get there, accommodations, distances, elevations or general comments would be appreciated.

@jpflavin1 @HeidiL just finished walking, @Eugene Carroll will early January and I’ll start end of February so between all 3 we should have a pretty good info bank of the Via Augusta.

ColetteZ:

Do you plan to post along the way? If so, I will be following your walk. If I may ask, how are you getting to Cadiz?

I do not plan to start until late March.

Regards,
Joe

@jpflavin1, I will travel from Seville to Cadiz by train or bus depending on my arrival time in Seville. I will try to post daily a short FYI.

Joe,

We walked Via Augusta in September 2015 and found it a bit boring. In places the Way was not well marked and we depended on GPS. We stayed in hotels/hostals. Here is our website http://pamnjeff.com/andalucia/category/via-augusta/
