Camino Bingo

So, my daughter is going to Barcelona for a work trip next week, and she has made up two big sheets with little square pictures of many of Barcelona's sites, one for each child. She will send back pictures every day and they will have to find the pictures on their sheets. They will both get bingo by the end of her trip and she will be bringing back their "prizes" from Barcelona.

And that got me thinking.... this would be a great thing to do with young 'uns left behind when a parent or grandparent is walking the Camino. It's so easy to get Camino pictures, and this could be a lot of fun!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Wow! I love this idea! Thank you.
(Sort of) along these lines....I found a National Geographic Adventure Map of Northern Spain that I plan to leave with my grandson. I am going to ask him to (with his dad's help) mark my progress every day. The cool thing about the map is that the Camino Francés marked in green so it is easy to follow. The Camino del Norte and the Primitivo are also on the map.
I am sure there are many electronic versions that would accomplish the same thing, but IMO there is nothing like a good old fashion paper map.
Saludos.

Instead of going to jail, one gets an upper bunk. Chance cards give you an unecessary 7.2km detour out of Estella, or a snoring Saxon in the next bunk. Community chest can give you free orujo at the bar in Castrojeriz or a friendly cat in O Pino.

One could go on, but probably shouldn't.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I was thinking about the railroads as the Camino Tour companies.

Oh please do go on! I'm enjoying this immensely!!!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
There are loads of them! One here in the UK would be happy to sell you a 7 night stroll from Sarria to Santiago for just CDN$2,700. Sound like a bargain? :)

PS I like your handle ... too many and too often. NEVER too often (unless you're speaking from your spouse's / pocket book point of view ;) )

She left me at home for ten months a few years ago while she travelled overland to Thailand and back again. With side trips to Japan and Korea and a few other interesting spots. That gives me a good starting point if there's any argument! :)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I can just hear it now.... "and how many months have you spent on Camino exactly? 🤔" Mind you, you do say "starting point".!!
As to the game, I seriously like the idea of 'Pass Santiago, collect $2 million ' . !!!

As to the Bingo idea - brilliant! I remember my mother flying back to the UK around 50 years ago. Dad had all her flight details, and we plotted the journey on a giant world map. Attached postcards as they arrived. (Some after she got home 😂). Must have made a heck of an impression for me to remember it now - sometimes, I struggle to remember what I did last week.....

Is your daughter an elementary school teacher? This technique is used to supplement many a classroom geography curriculum and other academic programs.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
