I'am not perfect, but I'm always myself!!!
Hi, Forum!

Anybody ever came across a list of Camino de Santiago Pilgrim Associations worldwide, from Korea through Spain and over the pond etc.???
I know I could Google it for a few hours and eventualy gather it but I just thought it might already exist. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
For associations in Spanish speaking countries, see this previous thread.
The Mexico chapter is still very active, with monthly meetings at the Cafe Buen Camino. I attend every now and then.

Hi Kinky One
Camino Ways lists on their website a worldwide list of Camino Associations.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
All posts very helpful. Thanks a lot!
I'll try to do an updated list in coming days if nothing else will turn out.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

One of the biggest Associations in Germany is the "Freundeskreis der Jakobuspilger Hermandad Santiago e.V. Paderborn". It's a non-profit club (e.V.) running the "Casa Paderborn" in Pamplona. It's the only Albergue that is accessible on the festivities of S. Fermin.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi @KinkyOne ! Do you also want the names of sub-groups of country groups?? That would be a huge list!! ;)
Actually didn't think of that. I thought every national association would have a list of chapters (states/provinces, counties, cities...) included on their websites... But I would be interested if you have such a list. :)

Sorry, K1, I don't have that sort of list. But you're right, all the nationals will have MOST of the chapters listed!!
Thanks for this!!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I know there is a Canadian association and one in Quebec that is totally different and independent (not a chapter of the Canadian one).

And there are two groups in Toronto. One is the official chapter of the Canadian national association and one that is separate and less official. Some (like me) are members of both.

Greetings all. I was scheduled to start in Porto in a few days. Went for a 20 km hike yesterday (my longest thus far) and almost didn’t make it. By the time I got home, I could hardly walk...
I have a confession. I am terrified of - and yes now feel free to laugh - the top bed in bunks with no railing/fence (something to stop you falling out). I've managed to get away with it except...
This is the latest fad for Camino stay out of the wind and woods 🤗.
What are your favorite restaurants, bars, hotels, inns, etc on the Camino Frances NOT in albergues please? Gracias.
We just returned home from watching our second total solar eclipse here in the U.S. in 7 years. Our next is in 20 years. We have become hooked on the magical, mystical, moving unique experience...
Yes, pardon me. So I've just read this cool article about the closing of the Puerta del Perdón in the Monastery of Santo Toribio for the holy year (and it is a very beautiful peurta for sure). It...
