Planning this camino late April/early May 2023 but having trouble finding out about bus service from SdeC or Coruna, preferably SdeC, to Malpica. Different sites give conflicting information. One says there is a daily bus from SdeC departing 8.15am, others say there is no service. From Coruna different sites say daily, 3 times a week or no service. Has anyone travelled to Malpica recently and can advise on a service and what site I can go to to book. Thanks.

Looks like plenty of services from A Coruna: https://www.bus.gal/gl/servizos/busca You'll probably find buses ex-Santiago as well. Beware of place-names as the site uses Galego and Castellano but place names are not interchangeable

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
@Llew Spanish public transport is usually pretty reliable, and predictable. The service advertised for a Wednesday in February will more than likely run on a Wednesday in April or even September. In some areas with a summer tourist trade there may be additional services but up in the woolier bits of Galicia probably not. I think you can plan, with reasonable confidence, using the current published schedule. Just check a week or so before your boots hit the ground.

As more people discover the Camino, the usual routes will become more crowded. Wanting a more spiritual/meditative pilgrimage, I have charted a more "rustic"/rural (anti-social?) route, but would...
