Camino Frances in June

Hi there,
Am thinking of walking the Camino Frances in June. Just wondering if there is anyone else thinking of doing it around the same time? Would be glad of the company as will be walking it on my own.
Kind Regards,
Denise

I'm arriving at Saint-Jean-Pied-De-Port on the 1st of June, on my own as well. I expect to meet plenty other pilgrims though.

I wouldn't worry too much Denise, from what others have told me, you will probably meet people instantly on arrival in SJPdP and along the route itself, all part of the experience!

I arrive into SJPdP on the 12 June, but you should be well ahead of me by the stage!

Buen Camino! :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

If you click on the 'Camino de Santiago Calendar' link at the bottom of this page you see which forum members are starting from the various points each day, 20,000+ start each year from St Jean so you won't be short of fellow peregrinos to say hello to and pass a few miles with.

Regards

Seamus

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I will be starting from Pamplona on June 27 with my wife and teenage kids.

St. Jean Pied de Port was beautiful this morning, just chilly. The walk up the Napolean route was tough but proud I finished! Buen camino to those trying the route! :). It was very wet and muddy.
