Third times a charm? Hope so as Sept 2018 will be my third attempt starting in Logrono . My name is Joe and I live in Arkansas. The first two attempts resulted in knee and back injuries. 1st time 2014 St Jean to Los Arcos, then 2016 Los Arcos to Logrono. my 71 yr old knee is healing nicely after the operation . Steroids are working great on my L3, L4. L5 nerve pinches. Life is looking up.

Probably start early to mid September. I walk very slow and stop often so I expect to finish early to mid January (wink)

Anyway , Great to be back ,Buen Camino. :)

I am contemplating a walk from Lourdes to Santiago starting around the 1st of September. Might catch up with you. Buen Camino. Glad to hear your joints are cooperating.

I plan to start in Mid March or April, I have not decided yet. At the moment I am trying to understand, when those accommodation, that are not open all year round, start opening. Does somebody know an answer?

Also hoping to walk beginning of April, have only ever completed stages in the summer but struggled in the heat. Anyone ever been beginning of April? Also travelling Easter Sunday, was wondering if trains and buses from Bilbao airport will be running?
