Time of past OR future Camino

People with first hand experience please tell me. I set of on Saturday next week and I’m fearful, people are saying things like “it’s not the Camino anymore it’s overrun with pilgrims” “it’s selfish to walk the Frances now with how overwhelmed it is”…
I only booked a bed for 5 nights now I’m pooping my pants and don’t know what to do 😢

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

There have been hundreds of posts on the issue of overcrowding (or the lack of it) in the past couple of weeks. Is there any specific question you would like answered? If not I am sure you can find all the conflicting opinions you need in existing threads.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
“it’s not the Camino anymore it’s overrun with pilgrims”
LOL I am not laughing at you, I am laughing at the absurdity of complaining that there are pilgrims on a pilgrimage, it's like complaining about being stuck in traffic when we are the traffic.

Breathe. You have your first 5 nights booked, and that is a load off your mind, you'll know by day 3 or 4 if it is madness and if you need to book ahead for the rest. Go! Walk! It will be your Camino, I am relatively certain that every single person experiences very different Caminos even at the same. You can boast about being on the busiest route at the busiest time and your surviving the madness.

Buen Camino!
