Anyone know if Albergue de San Roque, in Villambistia is open? Wise Pilgrim stars it may be closed.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Most other sources, Gronze, Berking and their own website also have them as closed. I guess there is a reasonable assumption to be made: they're shut, temporarily, for refurbishment

Thanks for your replies. Guess I’ll have to wait until September and see if they are open.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
