I'm putting up a series of videos on youtube. Each video is one day's walk. They are labeled according to the stages from Brierley's guide. Each video contains the following sections:
1) A google earth path tour of the walk
2) The altitude profile of the walk
3) The corresponding guide page from Brierley's guide (he was kind enough to allow me permission to use his pages, so please respect his work)
4) Pictures from the day's walk that sum up the day
5) 8x speeded up extracts from the gopro video's of each day's walk along with a diagram of where it is on google earth as well as the guide page. Had to do extracts because even at 8x speedup there is a lot of video. Tried to concentrate on getting a feel of what you're walking through.

Some of the days, the videos are fair, others very good. Their certainly not professional but they may be useful to someone who wants to remember a certain space or who wants to see what a given walk looks like.

Here is the youtube playlist.

I'll be adding more videos over the coming weeks.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

My GoPro batteries last about 2 hours. Did you take lots of batteries or were you just selective about the sections you recorded?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
A couple of people have asked about battery life and the GoPro. I replied but didn't see the reply posted so thought I would put up another comment. The normal GoPro battery doesn't last that long, so I opted for an external battery. The external battery keeps the gopro running for about 9 hours or so. You tie it into the gopro with a standard USB mini cable. As long as the battery can supply about 1A, you're in no trouble at all. Just make sure that the USB cable doesn't move around too much (i.e. allow enough slack in the connection). The USB connector on GoPros (particularly the models prior to the current ones) have a connector that would break if flexed too much - and make the camera useless as well. I didn't use the standard GoPro external batteries. They don't supply enough capacity. There are multiple sources for "USB recharging" batteries on the Internet.
