Camino Norte in March--has anyone walked during that month? Info needed, por favor!

Time of past OR future Camino
2016 - Voie de la Nive
2012, 2016 - Frances
2013 - Portuguese
2012, 2013 - Finesterre & Muxia
Inasmuch as I'd love to go back so soon (just returned home a little over a month ago, after walking the Camino Portuguese), this is not info for me. A couple of friends of a friend are looking to walk the Norte trail in March and are going to contact me soonto ask me questions. I'd like to be able to give them a wee bit of info before sending them here to the forum and to the CSJ.

Much appreciated! Thanks!
Happy New Year!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Did you find that there were plenty of places open for accommodation during March along this route?

Hola

There will be places to stay in March/April, but many Albergues first opens around Easter, so one has to stay at youth hostels or pensions which are more expensive at times.

Plan to have a bit more expensive camino and you will be fine.

Hola Tom,

Yea. Last year I found our threads meaningful despite I wasn't walking myself.
It gave me an opportunity to share my experiences and to follow your walks from my home, which was
an unexpected gift.
Also, anyone wanting to know a little about Norte in March/April can extract a lot of good information from the threads.
If I missed some please do point to them.

All the best.
