- preparing for possible combination Camino Viejo/Vadiniense/Primitivo fall 2017
I plan to start walking (my first) Camino del Norte around Oct 5th and would like to cross through the mountains via the 'Ruta Vadiniense' to connect to the Camino Viejo (leading to Camino Francés). I've read somewhere that the mountain routes after Potes might close around Oct 15. On this site I'm reading through some very inspiring posts from people having walked these routes in summer.. Does anyone have experience walking these mountain trails in (the second half of) October? Cheers!
