Hi guys! Name's Chris and I'll be starting my very first camino (alone) very soon! In fact I'll arrive at Pamplona tomorrow (Sunday) and will begin the walk on Monday! Hopefully I can reach Santiago de compostela before Christmas! Just wondering how's the weather condition in case anyone's on the way :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

just found a new website, wunderstation, and. it gives really local weather stations. But, hey, you have a jacket? A poncho? good boots? go for it! Have a great time. What envy, just take care, and keep an eye out for angels on your way!
and be sure to call in to the albergue/cafe on the left in Uterga. Lovely people, the mama is a peregrina..

See you in El Camino. Raining and cold

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Currently in Santiago. It's very cold but sunny. Frosty mornings, sunny afternoons. Sometimes a misty start too.
We didn't stay much in pilgrim albergues but in Arzúa it was pretty warm in the dormitory that night.
Gloves, hat, buff and thermal leggings under trousers were standard for me from Burgos. But most days I removed all of them by lunch time. And quite often I was walking in just a long sleeved t shirt and trousers. But it's getting colder.

We had two days of rain during our Camino (another since we arrived) but apparently that isn't usual.

Have a great time and wrap up warm!
