Another one, year after year...
Many years ago I came through Valenca walking the central way. Nice. In August 2018 I walked along the coast with children and grandchildren. We left the coast at Caminha and followed the river Minho. It was blisteringly hot - 38 degrees. Coming up from the river we entered the town on a different route from the central one and happened across this wall. Which turned out to be a kind of fountain. It was awash with water! Heaven in this heat. And we all got sopping wet.

Voila! Maybe worth trying to find if you are on the camino in the heat.

And another find which means a slight detour; after Pontevedra go into the Parque Natural del Rio Barosa to the waterfalls where you can bathe in natural pools - wonderful for youngsters and oldsters can sit on a pleasant terrace in the shade under trees.

Buen camino!
