Camino Primitivo - Lugo to Melide or Arzua

Hi All
I am meeting friends in Lugo then bussing to Sarria to hike the last 100 Km. I’ve done the entire Frances twice before.

I am thinking of suggesting we do something different rather than hiking Sarria to Santiago.

I’m looking to try Lugo to Santiago but want to do it in 15km hikes daily ( I’ll be joining friends in Porto dats after to do the Camino Portugese)

Is that possible?
Accommodations are hard to research, any suggestions?
Is it best to join the Camino Frances at Melide or Arzua?

Thanks All
Dan

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Sometimes you need to think "where does the traffic go", as opposed to "where do I want to go".

There is an Alsa bus to Lugo at 10:15 Saturday 11 May that will get you into Lugo about 13:30. There are frequent connections to Sarria from Lugo. There is another at 16:30 but you would probably end up over-nighting in Lugo. Not necessarily an unpleasant event.

Happy planning

And I've heard that Lugo is a wonderful town to explore, that walking from there qualifies you for a compostela, and gets you away from crowds for a few days until you join the Camino Frances.
