Camino Portugues
Aug/Sept (2017)
Hi,
Am looking at walking the Camino Primitivo starting from Oviedo at the end of September 2022!

I completed the Portuges central route back in 2017, continuing onto Muxia & Finisterra!

Obviously things have changed since my last Camino, and I understand Spain still has some Covid related entry requirements!

I have only received 2 covid vaccinations, and going by Gov.uk would need to receive a booster or present evidence of a negative PCR/Lateral flow test, before gaining entry!

I would be flying from U.K into Madrid before travelling onto Oviedo!

Can anyone share their experience of arriving at the airport and what the process is, regarding providing proof of your covid status?
Is there a separate que system or the likes!

Am also looking at flights, Last time I was able to take my Osprey Stratos 36L as cabin baggage, now it’s seem it is 10cm over the Easyjet FREE carryon size!

Anyone know if they are actively checking the size of peoples carryons!
Don’t think it would fit under the seat anyway, because of the curved suspension frame! It’s an extra £24.99 to upgrade!

All help, much appreciated!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I will address Osprey Stratos 36L: had no issues taking it on Easyjet from Paris to Biarritz in April 2022 en route to SJPP. Buen Camino.

Recently travelled to Balearics and they checked everyone’s covid status on arrivals (wanted to see our QR codes showing vaccination status). This was 1 month ago.
