My Camino starts tomorrow I am leaving from Valencia. First I am going to take the Requena Camino to the town called Utiel. From there I’m going to go south to Albercete to join Camino de la Levante. I will follow that Camino all the way to Santiago de compostella. From their own I will go to the end of the world. I want to say thanks for all the very good contributions in this forum. This site has helped me a lot deciding where to go and how to plan my trip thank you.
Today I went to the “asociación Amigos del camino de Santiago comunidad Valencia“ to get my credentials, The pilgrim pass. They were very helpful and I will advise everybody to go there instead of getting their credentials sent. Hope I will meet some of you at the Camino. Buen camino to all of you.

P.s. it is my first Camino and I have booked two months for it .

Wishing you a fun camino. Very brave for your first. I hope the weather is kind to you. The Levante can be very harsh in heat. Always ensure you have plenty of water with you. Bless.

Hi, LarsPerez, buen camino, and thank you for introducing me to a camino I had never heard of! https://www.editorialbuencamino.com/caminodesantiago/25/camino-de-requena

When you have time, maybe once you´re done, I’d love to hear about how you decided to walk this route, and then also how you decided to make your own way from Utiel to Albacete. I assume there is no marked route to get you from Requena to Levante, but I could be surprised by yet another camino, I suppose! I don’t know of any other forum member who has walked the Requena, but there is a group of Levante fans who will enjoy following you if you care to post about your days while you are walking. My guess is that you won’t see many or any others walking, but the forum is a pretty friendly place to check in if you are lonely on the Camino!! Buen camino, Laurie
