Camino suggestions please for March

Is VDLP too early to start beginning of March?

I have walked the VdlP in January. Some snow on a few days but still walkable. The only season I would completely avoid is summer

March is a good month for the VdlP, not to hot, not to cold and full of spring flowers!

I walked it this year from the end of February to Easter week. The albergues were cold at night, but heating was available. With the mornings cold but pleasant enough by the afternoon. Flooding at crossings became a problem, but you can work around them using other routes. The albergue kitchens are limited in usage. There are long stretches and scenic areas.

I walked it in early April, and it was fantastic.

During Easter week the Spanish families will do the 100 Kms into Santiago. So it gets crowded in some albergues, at those stages.

I did start March 20th 2023 at Cádiz and had mostly dry weather, but this year the area had a lot of miserable weather with flooding. Just to say each year can be different.

The beginning of March is definitely not too early, you could start even sooner. CaminoWeather says that's more or less the sweet spot:

. Though when I walked it around then last year, it was already a little too hot for me.

March is a good time to start from Sevilla.
You will need to be prepared for all types of weather.
