I just finished walking the Camino Terisiano from Avila to Alba de Tormes. It was only 4 days but I learned so much. Saint Teresa was an incredible woman and had a beautiful insight into life and it’s purpose. This was a very solitary route but at every historical site, every museum, every cathedral, has so much inspiration and learning aspect that I am left pretty much overwhelmed in a good way.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hello @ggtree! I did it in 2019 and loved it as well! Did you have trouble finding accommodation, or were all the albergues open? Fontiveros, with only one accommodation, a casa rural has no albergue at all.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Would love to know more about this route. Do you have a blog or a site you can recommend?

Sounds like a wonderful experience.

Thanks for this. I was looking for a short Camino to do next year after the investment of time involved in going the VdlP this year and this could be it. I know the area and some of the pueblos well as I spent 6 years in Valladolid and 2 in Salamanca when I did my training for the priesthood. Would be great to get back to the area and to use the opportunity to get back into St Teresa's spirituality.

The section I walked on the Levante (Toledo to Zamora ) was so peaceful .
I passed signs indicating the Camino Teresiano and did enjoy being guided by a seńora in Gotarrendura through St. Teresa’s family area and memorial and especially the dovecote.

Above here in this thread is also a comment by forum member @Elle Bieling
Who has guide and info for this way(Teresiano).
My short section was over 2 trips to spain as it was halted midway in 2020
I walked the last part of the Levante this May 2022. Ending in the glorious Zamora ! Beautiful place.

A great guide for the entire Levante (online) is this (in English )

As more people discover the Camino, the usual routes will become more crowded. Wanting a more spiritual/meditative pilgrimage, I have charted a more "rustic"/rural (anti-social?) route, but would...
