Camino Wiki reborn

Hi all,

As some of you may know a while back I also started a camino wiki. So I thought, why not start on on the pilgrimage that contained information on some of the most often asked questions. Then after a while when we have enough information on there it could be used as an Online Guidebook.

In short: It's like Wikipedia, but only focused on the camino.

Ok, so I got this thing started but realized that spammers had a field day and it was very difficult to keep it up without it being spammed to death. :-(

So for a long time now it has just been sitting there.. (I closed it down for new edits, but you could still read it). Now I have moved it and done a few things that I think will make the spammers struggle to ruin it for us. And I have decided to start up again. The new Camino Wiki (also see link all the way at the top of each page) is now open for business.

UPDATED:

If you feel like editing a page, here is what you do:

1) Go into your User Contril panel in the forum:
ucp.php?i=167

... and add yourself to the "Wiki" usergroup.

(I will manually approve these so that no spammer gets by, so please be patient)

2) Then you just use your user name and password from the forum to log into the wiki.
(Note: If you have any "weird" character in your user name such as "._-*/-+" you may have a problem login into the Wiki. I am looking into this.)

Saludos,
Ivar
