Caminoforgood.com - virtual Camino

Have seen the virtual Camino advertised via caminoforgood.com and in theory sounds like an excellent idea to generate much needed money for those owning and running the albergues to get back on their feet for the future. I am more than happy to relive the memories of my 2016 Camino Frances whilst walking locally in West Wales but would like some assurance that if I commit to it the money I contribute will end up with those who it is intended for.

Has anyone got on any views on this or know those that are orchestrating it?
