Can we get to Fatima from Via de la plata

gerrym

We are considering starting in Seville in June and some point would like to jump off VDLP to Fatima can anyone advise if this is possible maybe by bus. Then we will continue to Santiago on the Portuguese route. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
One way would be to take a bis from Badajoz to Lisbon and another bus from Lisbon to Fatima.
See some possibilities/costs/time at www.Rome2Rio.com

Happy planning and Buen Camino!

We are doing the same, mass in Fatima on Sunday and catch the bus out at 1900 spend the night and start the next day. Here is our plan:
  • Arrive Lisbon (1100) Airport take local bus to city Line 2 bus (Lisboa - Sete Rios every 20 min) Then Lisbon to Fátima Rede Expressos bus #99127 at 11:30 to Fatima, Portugal
Depart Fatima by bus to Alvaiázere at 1900 (55 min) Stay the night and start the Portuguese Camino!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
