I am needing information re: Canadians flying into Portugal. When I looked at booking, it says that Canadians are not allowed into Portugal (covid). The weird thing is that the US is. Our numbers of infection are less and our vaccinated percentages are much higher. So, it’s a puzzle. I really am wondering if anybody has rumblings of Portugal’s stance changing in the near future. I have checked embassy, re-open Europe and the airlines.

There are a few other threads about this. This current restriction is in place until Feb 28, hopefully it will change then. It really doesn’t make a lot of sense, but those are the rules. If you want to go before then you can enter through a land border with no issues.
